Van Phong Bonded Petroleum Terminal

Van Phong Bonded Petroleum Terminal project is expected to be put into operation in the third quarter of 2011, according to sources from Van Phong Bonded Petroleum Terminal Joint Venture Company Limited.

Construction of Van Phong Teminal is being speeded up

In 2010, the project’s contractors focused on the construction of key bidding packages, including the second package that covered office buildings and other infrastructure items in the warehouse with 79 percent of the work completed. Meanwhile 15.2 percent of the third package for the wharf system and 60 percent of the fourth package for tanks, technological pipelines, electricity and control systems and other mechanical engineering items were completed.

In 2010, the company mobilized 30 million USD of charter capital from stakeholders, of which 21.1 million USD were used for bidding packages.
