Oil is the main business of Petrolimex. Every year, Petrolimex imports 7-8 million tons of oils, accounting for 60 percent of domestic market. Turnover by oil per year amounts to an average figure of more than 25,000billion dongs, accounting for 80 percent of that of the whole Corporation.

At the service of oil business, Petrolimex oil storage system with a capacity of more than 1.2 million cubic meters stretches along the length of the country, ensuring the storaging and supply for markets: Duc Giang General Depot ( Hanoi), Thuong Ly (Hai Phong), Nha Be General Depot (Ho Chi Minh City), group of depots in the Central Zone ( Phu Khanh-Binh Dinh- Da Nang- Nghe An), Western zone of the South, B12 group of depots (Quang Ninh)...

Conscious of the importance of “oil- the blood of the nation” the Corporation deals in oil not merely for profit but also for the political responsibility toward the nation. Petrolimex pledges to ensure an ample supply of good quality oils for the country in all circumstances.

Through a system of nearly 1,500 retail stations and a chain of 6,000 agents nationwide, Petrolimex is the biggest supplier of all kinds of best fuels complying with national and international standards, effectively servicing the task of national industrialization and modernization.
